Elon Musk’s mother, Maye Musk, recently shared insights into her son’s early years, revealing that she recognized his extraordinary intelligence before he even started preschool. In an interview, she expressed her deep admiration for his curiosity, problem-solving skills, and intense focus from a very young age.
Maye recalled how, as a child, Musk would often become completely absorbed in books and complex topics, sometimes to the point of seeming unaware of his surroundings. While some might have worried about his introverted nature, she saw it as a sign of deep intellect.
“I knew he was special early on,” she said. “He was always thinking, always questioning. He read the encyclopedia cover to cover and could recall intricate details about space and engineering before he was even in school.”
